What this site is
NicoCares is a demonstration site-package installed into an inCMS instance. The organisation that operates this instance is the controller of anything you type here, and this page describes what the package itself does with it. It is written to be checkable: every statement below is about data flows that exist in the shipped package, not about intentions.
The operating organisation has not yet published its registered details on this page. Until it does, treat the organisation named in correspondence you receive as the controller, and address any question about this page to it.
What is collected, and where each thing goes
There are four planes, and they behave differently. Nothing here is combined into a single profile by the package.
1. The waitlist — your name and email
The signup on the home page collects a name and an email address and nothing else. Both are stored in this inCMS instance as a form submission. Staff of the operating organisation who hold the submission-read permission can read and export them; that permission is denied by default and is re-checked inside the service that builds the export, so it cannot be reached around.
2. The newsletter — your email
The footer signup collects an email address. It is stored in the same place, under the same access rules.
3. The eligibility check — your answers
The questions in the eligibility check are not stored in this site's content system. They are forwarded to the NicoCares patient service, which runs the check a clinician then reviews. The package declares every destination it is permitted to reach, and they are all NicoCares' own hosts plus a payment provider. No advertising network and no analytics service is among them, because the package ships no advertising or analytics tag at all.
4. Your browser — the unfinished draft
If you start the eligibility check and do not finish it, your answers so far are kept in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. That draft holds everything you have entered so far — your name, phone number and email address, the delivery address you gave, your state, your date of birth, and your answers about weight, medication history and medical conditions. It is cleared when the check is submitted successfully. If you abandon it, or if a submission fails, it stays only in that browser tab — it is held in session storage, so it goes when the tab closes, and it expires after 24 hours in any case. It is never sent anywhere on its own.
How long anything is kept
Stored submissions are kept until someone at the operating organisation deletes them. There is no automatic deletion. The operator can set a number of days after which their dashboard prompts them to review old submissions for purging, but that setting raises a prompt rather than removing anything, so this page does not publish a retention period it cannot promise.
No fixed retention period is committed to yet. Until one is published here, assume a submission is kept until you ask for it to be deleted.
What this package does not do
- It ships no advertising tag, no analytics tag and no third-party tracker.
- It does not sell what you type here.
- It does not combine the four planes above into one profile.
Those are statements about the package's own contents, which is what it can honestly assert. What the operating organisation configures on top of it, and what the NicoCares patient service does with answers after they arrive, are that organisation's and that service's to state.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can unsubscribe from any email sent to you using the link in that email.
A dedicated request channel and a response-time commitment are not yet published. Until they are, the phone number in the footer is the only channel this site actually carries, and a request made there is handled the same way.
Governing law and jurisdiction for this deployment are not yet settled. Nothing on this page waives a right you have under the law that applies where you live.
